Dear Friends and Competitors of the Lorenzo Driving Competition:

This year, we will be mailing only about one third of the 700 plus prize lists which we have sent out in the past few years.  We attended a symposium conducted by Bill Remley of Walnut Hill, and have taken a page from his book of organization. ( See information on this years WH competition on the inside back cover.)  The Walnut Hill Prize List is mailed to those who have competed there in the previous three years.  Slots are reserved for a period of time before the show for those who competed in the immediate previous year.

We do not dare to compare ourselves to Walnut Hill, but, taking Bill’s advice under counsel, we have reviewed our past competitions, and find that it’s the same old friends who tend to return to Lorenzo.  And so, we will realize a considerable savings in postage and printing…and in volunteer hours.
